The Grange Banqueting Suite was originally built as a private country house in the 1830s. Latterly it was owned by Rolls Royce Ltd. and used as a training establishment during and after World War II.
In the early 1970s the building was purchased by the Freemasons and now constitutes the main Masonic centre in Derbyshire. The Grange Banqueting Suite is situated just off Burton Road in Littleover, 100 metres on the left after you cross the A5111 Derby ring road when leaving the City. It is reached by a short private lane.
The ground floor is used extensively as dining suites and has excellent bar facilities whilst the first floor is used for Masonic events as well as housing the main wedding chapels.
Much of the original structure has changed and a fire in 1990 destroyed some of the extensive oak panelling. However the building has been tastefully restored and still has many aspects of the original including the tower that has commanding views of the City as far as the East Midlands Airport.
Trees in the grounds have been in place since the original house was built and arboreal experts say that some of them are among the finest specimens in the country. Extensive lawns and gardens laid out almost two centuries ago give excellent photographic opportunities for wedding and party celebrations.

All of this together with excellent facilities is designed to make your special day perfect
